Since the actual shipping-container (box, envelope, etc.) can be used multiple times, the respective raw-material and the resulting package do not have to be produced again, which of course saves all related CO2 emissions.
Only a new T-Seal needs to be produced for each consecutive shipment. Therefore, only the CO2 emissions originating from the production of this new T-Seal occur, which are rather marginal in relation to those that would arise, if an entire shipping-container was produced.

As all shipping-containers (box, envelope, etc.) still contain the characteristics like a common container, T-Seal can be considered an additional option to act sustainably. Nevertheless, the container can still be closed as any other container, using e.g. tape.
